Haploa species? - Haploa lecontei

On a milkweed plant. I think this may be a Haploa species, but I'm not sure which one.

Moved from Confused Haploa Moth - Hodges#8112. We've emailed JD back and forth and are all convinced now that this is lecontei with the black ending short on the back edge of the forewing.
