The moth emerged the day following my excursion. Turns out to be a beautiful female of this species, which puts Ontario onto the map for BugGuide.

Once again, in my search to ID a recent photo I find one of your posts! beautiful image. I'm about to post an image of what I believe to be the same species in ID request. Nice work
