Size: Aprox 12mm
This interesting Tiger Beetle was on the granite shores of Vermillion lake. According to our research it is probably (Cicindela denikei) Refer to www.uoguelph.ca/debu/tiger-beetles.htm for more information

Looks and descriptions match...
And if this is indeed a Cicindela denikei, let me congratulate you for your rare find! C. denikei is nearly endemic to NW Ontario and is tracked by NHIC, according to one of their articles.
