"Aedes togoi"


Here is what I have been calling Aedes togoi. Reinert erected a new genus for this one, Tanakaius, but Darsie and Ward still have it as Ochlerotatus. If I had my way, all Aedes would still be Aedes, and we would use subgeneric classifications... But whatever. If we go with Tanakaius, we might as well go ahead and change Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus to Stegomyia. Not doing so is just playing favorites.
