Dasychira - male

Dasychira - Male
Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Washington, USA
July 4, 2007
Size: 1.75" WTW
could someone please id this one? I've labeled it with my best guess, but it's darker than most images I've seen (if I'm right). Thanks.

Dasychira
This could be vagans, however, the rusty colored thoracic scaling and dark overall appearance has me considering Dasychira grisefacta as well. When these Dasychira are so vaguely marked, on top of the high variability, species ID is quite difficult. But I can't rule out either one just yet, so I moved to genus page until someone else can offer an opinion or confirm one way or another.
