Which Robber Fly species? - Promachus bastardii - Male
Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas, USA
June 14, 2007
Size: approximately 1.75 inches
I am guessing this Robber Fly is the species Promachus albifacies or possibly the species Promachus bastardii. Can any one tell me the species? I am also curious about a general ID of his prey. Thanks.
