Male - Watersnipe Fly
Something like Suragina concinna. Nice shot, the range is Mexico & part of Texas! (only one species in our area) The green eyes meet at the top of the head. = ♂
The other images might all be females with red eyes, but I'm not sure of that and can only speculate. Let's hope that the experts can tell us more about him.
