Longspinneret Spider
Good find, Tom. Texas is the only state where you can find this type of spider. I had uploaded some images from South of the border, but now we have a bona fide US specimen! The only genus we have is Tama, according to Levi (1).

Troy, thanks for the info on this spider. It's nice to hear I got something good. These are my first uploads to Bugguide, so I'm not sure if I place the identified bugs in the right areas, or how that works.

If you know for sure what it is...
Then look for a good spot in the guide. Just search for the scientific name of the species, genus, family, etc. If there's not already a guide page for that particular thing, put it in the closest spot (e.g. if no genus then go family) and be sure to let us know in the comments what it is so we can create a place for it.

Nice to see someone else interested in spiders.
