some of the hairs rubbed off this one. These guys were really common on flowers and grasses in the dunes.
This species was described from the dunes in 2001. Apterous and fuzzy give it away. Apparently it is not too common in that you have to be in the right spot (i.e. Monahans and a couple other locales) but is locally very abundant if at the right spot.
