Found under leaf of sunflower, they remind me of lady bugs but I need confirmation, friend or foe in the garden?

It does seem like Entylia carinata should be at least close, based on photos like

I managed to find an Id for this insect, it is Entylia carinata, mainly because their mom was still siting in my jar pretending to be a dead part of the leaf or a thorn, when I tried to move her I realized it's a bug as well.
