Hi David,
This is a Clover Looper - Caenurgina crassiuscula. It can be distinguished from the related C. erechtea by the straighter dark basal band of the forewing.

No worries - one species at a time
There's been a few recent postings of this species. I haven't found one myself; instead I ran into erechtea but had to differentiate the two anyway.
