At MV light. Originally thought it might be a new record for New York, but turns out we have a single female specimen in the CUIC collected in Ithaca in 1985. Nevertheless, a very exciting find!

BTW, you'll probably be interested to know that a 2015 Zootaxa paper made use of BugGuide posts as supplemental records for documenting the geographic distribution of Nallachius species :-)

This specimen was collected and deposited in the CUIC too, and I know someone who collected one on Cornell's campus last fall, so there are at least 3 specimens of this species from Tompkins county.
