Some kind of moth caterpillar maybe? - Dasychira meridionalis
Ft. Worth, TX, Tarrant County, Texas, USA
July 12, 2007
Size: 1 inch
I found this caterpillar on the side of my building at work. It has bristly furs all over it and long woolly looking antennae. What is it?

Moved
Moved from Dasychira.

Plumed black setae,
and quite numerous, so we would say meridionalis

Moved

a member of the Genus Dasychira
