assassin bug
Buckingham, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 30, 2016
I added this shot because I think it shows a spine on the dorsal fore femur (on the leg in the back), and I believe that is characteristic of Sinea, but not Acholla, which I believe are the only likely candidates in my area. Any thoughts?

If that is indeed a spine...
...then I would tend to agree with Sinea. I'll leave it up to you to move it or leave it here in the hope of getting additional opinions.

Thanks Ken.
At least I am reading the literature correctly on this one! I'll leave it here for a while in hope of getting those additional opinions--I'm enjoying learning more from those with expertise.
