Black & cream longhorn - Judolia montivagans

Black & cream longhorn - Judolia montivagans
Mt. Washington, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
July 4, 2007
Size: about 11 mm
Landed on a leaf near me as I investigated some conks for beetle life. At first I thought it was a very heavily-marked member of this species, which I also collected on Mt. Washington. This find was one of the many collateral benefits in my Forest Service-approved search for Py*tho str*ictus.
