Under small patch of dry seaweed and reeds washed ashore on the west side of Sandy Point (north end of West Beach/Longwood Cove). I found beetles of several species in several families under the same patch, which I'll photograph and post soon, hopefully tonight. Might it be the larva of one of them? See the beetles here.

I'm not totally sure this is a beetle, but it seems possible... let's see if any beetle people recognize it.
