Data Entry Problems

Over the past several months I have experienced a number of annoying problems with ID Requests:
  • I am unable to reply to comments, from other users, to ID Requests that I have posted. I can enter and submit a reply but it does not appear in the post.
  • When submitting or editing a request, I am unable to select a location from the "State/Province:" field. The value in this field defaults to "California" regardless of what I select. From the "Edit user information" page of my "User account", the "City, state, country" field defaults to the town nearest to my home. At one time, I had values for city, state and country in this field and I have tried to remove them hoping that would fix the State/Province problem. I was able to delete state and country but the City value (Occidental) won't go away.
  • When I select "Your Account" From the Home page, the "Name" field (user name?) displays an e-mail address as well as my user name. This e-mail address is one that I discarded several years ago. From the "Edit user information" page, values in the fields for "System e-mail address;" and "Public e-mail address:" show my current and correct e-mail address.
The server is holding on to old values and is not responding to edits. I am hoping that the Webmaster can fix the problem. Jim Gonsman

Just a followup to this. James and I communicated privately and found it was a browser plugin called Autofill that was causing the problem.
