Conocephalus fasciatus - female

Conocephalus fasciatus - Female
Freeville, Roy H. Park Preserve, Tompkins County, New York, USA
August 6, 2016
Swept from tall grass with this male . The male matches up perfectly to C. fasciatus, and this female would too if not for her short wings - all C. fasciatus are supposed to have wings that exceed the abdomen. She doesn't look right for C. brevipennis, though, and since she was found with the male, I think this is a short-winged C. fasciatus.
