Long-legged Fly - Dolichopus - male

Long-legged Fly - Dolichopus - Male
Richmond Hill, York Region, Ontario, Canada
Size: 5 mm
Sorry about lack of information ... it's a specmen from my old collection. I haven't noticed any images showing Dolichopodid males with enlarged terminalia like that in this specimen, so I thought I would post to depict this. Can it be narrowed down any further? Perhaps a Dolichopus?

Identification
Definitely a male Dolichopus, possibly even D. plumipes (the mid tibia - hard to check here - should have a distinct brown stripe on its dorsal face). D. plumipes is distributed in the Palaearctic, Nearctic, Greenland and Mexico (see Pollet et al., 2004).
