Cat loaded - Euplectrus
Flatside Wilderness, Perry County, Arkansas, USA
July 14, 2007
Size: 25mm (cat)
I have seen infested and parasitized caterpillars before but not with a congealed mound of green larvae. I don't know which cat it is either and it could be faded from natural coloration.

Moved
Moved from Eulophidae.

Moved
Moved from Braconid Wasps.

Here are others:
Hannah's
and Jeff's

Eulophid wasps, I think
Such as these:

or even more like these perhaps:
.

The caterpillar will die soon, and the larvae will disperse somewhat to finish eating it up, then pupate.

Would make a great series if you hold onto this specimen!
