Possible Ptilothrix bombiformes? - Bombus bimaculatus Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, New Hope/Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA July 27, 2011
I think the larger bee may be Ptilothrix bombiformes, and the smaller a Eucera species. Can you confirm or correct? They were on Swamp Rose Mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos) Thank you!
