Mydas fly - Nemomydas venosus - Female
Horseshoe Canyon, E. side of Chiricahua Mts., Cochise County, Arizona, USA
August 4, 2016
Size: 19 mm excl. antennae
This specimen was found by Margarethe Brummermann and given to me. I believe it was on the ground when found, in a dry stream bed in the lower portion of Horseshoe Canyon. Any help with narrowing of ID much appreciated.

You can see part of the "circle of spines" on the terminalia in the full-size image...which indicates a female.
