Abstract

The taxonomic status of three genera of Deltocephalus-like leafhoppers is reviewed. Male genital structures of Deltella and Mexara are illustrated for the first time. Two new species of Daltonia, blacki and condita, are described. Daltonia nigriloba (Linnavuori) is reinstated in the genus Bolarga.

Young, D.A. 1957. The leafhopper tribe Alebrini (Homoptera: Cicadellidae). Proceedings of the United States National Museum. 107(3386): 127-277.

The last taxonomic treatment of the species of the tribe Alebrini, by McAtee in 1926, included 2 genera and 26 species, 9 of which McAtee had not seen. The alebrine genera were treated by the present writer in 1952, but it was noted then that material was too limited to permit formulation of sound generic concepts and that some of the genera were heterogeneous.
