Block Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA
August 12, 2016
Numerous on mud in evening, Little Dump Pond. The pond, on the back end of West Beach, is mostly dried up after a dry summer, though most of the basin is full of at least a few feet of waterlogged mud covered in a thin layer of dead stringy algae which grew before the pond dried up.
