Size: ~6-7 mm
I found loads of these in a horse watering trough, all stages of instar. This one is probably 4th, but might be 3rd. I'm hoping to get an idea of what is up here.

Looks like Aedes/Ochlerotatus. Can't really ID these from photos. Best thing to do would be to raise it to adult and get shots of those. If you stick 'em in some of the water they are found in, they should emerge within a week or two. You can add some ground dog food as well, just don't add much. Getting shots of the emerged adults can be tricky however, without them escaping.
