Romalea guttata? - Romalea microptera

Size: ca 10 cm (
Came across this picture 4 yrs after first det. and find images in www do not fit to this. The animal was quite impressive, I would say hand-sized (but usually you make those larger than they are...). It was not moving at high speed, but somehow managed to always quickly escape a good photography.

yes
R. guttata, which is now known as R. microptera. In some regions they are predominantly black like this one
