Calligrapha serpentina larvae? - Calligrapha serpentina

Calligrapha serpentina larvae? - Calligrapha serpentina
Tumacacori National Historic Park, Tumacacori, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
August 20, 2016
I think these were on Sphaeralcea (Mallow family). I would never have guessed they were chrysomelids but happened on BG images of similar larvae under Calligrapha serpentina. Thanks in advance.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Yep, the beetles that are
first bright red and the become green. Should be on Malvaceae

Cool.
They were amazingly solid and packed in on the stem - would not budge when I tried to separate them.
