I wish this trio would have held still a bit longer, but they dropped down into the grass just after I took the picture. I was unable to tell if the 2nd male, at the female's head, was captured by her, or if he was alive and well and trying to displace the mating male (foreground). Either way, a very interesting moment in nature!
