A Larger Robber Fly - Promachus rufipes - Female

Size: 35 mm
I felt as though I was being watched while I was at a bush looking at hymenoptera. There it was only a couple of feet from me watching my every move and waiting for the kill of another insect on the bush. These are very fascinating creatures.
