BIG lunch! - Picromerus bidens

BIG lunch! - Picromerus bidens
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
July 17, 2007
What kind of stink bug? It caught a large gypsy moth caterpillar and was enjoying lunch by liquefying it's limp prey. Yum!

Awesome shot, David!
This is a Picromerus bidens. I have collected this species both here and in NB. There are already some Ontario images in the guide, but this series is definitely a great addition.

Thanks Stephen
I'll add it to the guide
