Moved
Moved from Ancistrocerus.

Ancistrocerus adiabatus, female (NH)
A. antilope lacks the yellow stripe on the metanotum. A. adiabatus is the most common Ancistrocerus species in most places in the northeast.

Thanks Matthias
Maybe the next wasp I find won't be one of the common ones:-)

Thanks Eric
It was mid sized, maybe about 10mm.

Ancistrocerus sp.
This is a eumenid mason wasp in the genus Ancistrocerus. If it was fairly large, then probably A. antilope.
