From this image, one can see exactly how the hatchlings escape - by flipping open the "lids" of their eggs. Great shot.

The color pattern of these eggs is very intriguing. I wonder if the black triangle is just the egg “shell” color or if it is the nymph that we can see through the translucid egg.

 
I wonder too
My guess is it's either the snout or the scutellum of the insects. I think it's the latter. Though a "nose" would be cute, along with those little red eyes ... or with a little imagination they look like they're smiling at ya ;-)
