Bee-eating Dragonfly - Libellula

Bee-eating Dragonfly - Libellula
near The Woodlands TX (North of Houston), Montgomery County, Texas, USA
September 5, 2016
Another image of the bee-eater. Looks somewhat like a blue dasher but doesn't have the tiger striping on the side.

Could this be a Great Blue Skimmer (female?)
I had some input from the Texas Drangons and Damsels group -> Looks like a very old and beat up female Great Blue Skimmer (Libellula vibrans). Would appreciate additional thoughts, thanks!
