Size: 9 mm minus extensions
On wet inner surface of loose bark on ash stump in wooded swamp.

A single small wasp emerged t
A single small wasp emerged through an evenly round exit hole a bit less than 1mm in diameter on or about May 5, 2017. Unfortunately the wasp escaped. On May 12 I opened the sac and found it mostly apparently excavated, revealing a vague honeycomb-like pattern on the bottom.
