Hopper ID Request - Coelidia olitoria - female

Hopper ID Request - Coelidia olitoria - Female
Herring Run Park, Baltimore City County, Maryland, USA
July 6, 2007

My feeling on this one is...
Coelidia olitoria. I just shot a lot of those today (well, yesterday, actually ... it's past midnight).
Let's wait for Dr. Hamilton to confirm that, though.

Coelidia olitoria floridanus
This is the coastal subspecies; it has shortened wings and orange color. The dark veins and pale wing spots indicate a female. This is the most northerly record of this subspecies.
