Wasp aggregation - Ammophila
Sonora Pass, Mono County, California, USA

This roosting aggregation was found torpid on an inflorescence of Lupinus argenteus var. meionanthus in the morning, before the sun had warmed them enough to begin to move about. I'm not able to discern whether they're all males, all females, or mixed.
