6 abdominal segments = ♀
The wings are consistent with the genus, though they are much darker than the closely related species, P. canadensis. Also, she lacks any silvery pubescence and she seems to be a larger sized species.
Her right-side mid-leg is damaged and she is missing a foot. The range includes southern California, but this is a first, congrats!
