Micrathena gracilis

Micrathena gracilis
Phelps County, Missouri, USA
September 19, 2016
This one has me stumped. The only thing I can come up with is that this might possibly be Gasteracantha cancriformis shot from a weird angle. I believe it is an orb weaver as it's web was typical for that family. Unfortunately I only managed this one shot of it before it dropped to the ground and disappeared in the weeds. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Moved from Spiders.

Looks rather to be Micrathena gracilis

Thank you John and Jane.
