humming bee? - Hemaris diffinis
outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
July 22, 2007
Never seen this before. Seems to love butterfly bushes.
Looks like a cross between a butterfly and a bumble bee.
It hovers when it flies. Drinks nector like a butterfly.

Moved
Moved from Sphinx Moths.

7855 -- Snowyberry/Bumblebee Clearwing Moth -- Hemaris diffinis
