Yeah, I would've liked to have known what she was feeding on myself, but it was in pretty rough shape. Not to mention, I wasn't about to interrupt her ;) Some large beetle, that's as far as I got with the ID.
What's the (MA) in your ID mean?

State abbreviations
The "MA" just indicates the state. This way I can quickly search for images from certain states.

Matthias, Mike Boone
has a better search option he hopes will become part of BugGuide. You can see the discussion and his offer to send the link to those interested. It only searches on a part of the database right now, but you might find it useful anyway.
