Unknown Moth - Tortricid? - Choristoneura fumiferana
Plainsboro Preserve, Middlesex County, New Jersey, USA
June 26, 2016
This moth was found on a night when we put a sheet with CFL lights out on the deck at Plainsboro Preserve. This moth came perched right on the base of the light setup. I think this is some sort of Tortricid, but though there are several that look similar, I haven't been able to find a match yet.

Plainsboro Preserve has a variety of habitat including forest, grassland, a leased farm field, and a lake. The site was formerly a farm, and then (briefly) a sand mine.

I am not an expert but this looks like a worn Archipni to me. You might look at and at the Jim vargo spread here while you are waiting for an expert.
