It is just a stick bug!

How cool! I've seen walking sticks but never something this delicate!

OK, I went through the guide pages, and the only stick bug that seems to be in range is Diapheromera femorata, the Northern Walkingstick. What a surprise! My friend had in August a walking stick that looked a lot sturdier. You can see it at

Since the present one is so much smaller in every dimension, maybe it is the male?
