Green Stink Bug - Thyanta custator

Green Stink Bug - Thyanta custator
Peyton, El Paso County, Colorado, USA
July 23, 2007
Fairly certain this is a member of Acrosternum, but it seems to be having some wing issues.

Thyanta custator (Fabricius ) -- D. B. Thomas det.
Moved from Thyanta.

Moved
Moved from True Bugs.

Thyanta maybe?
When I saw this image what struck me first were the prominent light spots on the wings. That, combined with the discoloured band across the top of the pronotum, the light coloured eyes and the transition of the antennae suggest to me that this may belong to the genus Thyanta rather than Acrosternum. I'm not an expert, so I really can't say for sure, but it's worth waiting for someone more experienced to weigh in.

After digging a little more...
I going to say that an expert should check this one out. As I saw there were no red markings, shoulder or otherwise, no black spots suggesting Nezara, and no other Pentatomidae with the wing markings of this specimen.

Thanks for the info though. Maybe it could be a new species to BG?!?

In your image, I can't see the membranous part of the wings clearly enough to tell if there are black spots or not. Also, not all of the members of the Thyanta genus have red colouration, like these for example:
and my image:
Again, I'm hopeful that an expert will share their opinion, but I still feel that Thyanta is a distinct possibility. Do you have any more images of this individual showing a different angle?

Unfortunately
I have no other pictures that were in focus. But I'm now feeling that Thyanta is the most probable.
