Chortophaga viridifasciata? - Chortophaga viridifasciata

Chortophaga viridifasciata? - Chortophaga viridifasciata
San Antonio/Garden Ridge, Comal County, Texas, USA

I think this is Chortophaga viridifasciata, Northern Green-Striped grasshopper, brown phase, probably a male. Please correct this novice if I am wrong.

Chortophaga viridifasciata
These specimens of C. viridifasciata that are marked like C. australior are moderately common in the Carolinas, Tennesee, Arkansas, Texas, etc. I personally suspect that the two are one species as it appears that many individuals are intermediate in some way, especially just outside the "accepted" range of C. australior.

Probably.
Right genus, but I don't know if C. australior occurs that far west. I don't think so.
