New identification
Photo#1302084, Photo#1302085, Photo#1302086 are not genus Hoplosphyrum. Given the locality, Sedona, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA September 29, 2016, and the 1) pointed ovipositor, 2) narrow, somewhat transversely arched pronotum, 3) transversely more arched abdomen, 4) narrower, more angled clypeus, this is most probably Cycloptilum comprehendens fortior Hebard (certainly a full species, with a different song and morphology from comprehendens). There are several other distinguishing characters but not visible in the photos. Desert Syncopated Scaly Cricket.
