Pepsis Buckwheat Singles Bar - Biggie - Pepsis

Size: 1-1/2" BL (guess)
I should have checked IDs at the door. Five species of what I think were all Pepsis kept flying in and out of this patch of buckwheat. In the same neighborhood were sa*nd wasps at a purple flower bar and Pepsis mil*dei at a milkweed bar.

This individual wasn't very animated - just hung in there. When I got too close, it moved and struck the same posture elsewhere.
