Move
How do I move this image to Damselflies (Zygoptera)?

HI Bill,
Just click on TAG and the image should appear in the upper left. Then go to Damselflies using search or taxonomy and click on IMAGES. You should see MOVE TAGGED IMAGE. Click once more and you're done! We would suggest moving this all the way to genus Lestes. It looks like a female Lestes and maybe someone will chime in and tell you which one.
PS: We thought about you as we left Wolf Ridge and drove to Finland. We stopped just before the Baptism River crossing on Route 6 because we saw turtlehead out the window. When we looked around we found dozens of Purple Fringed Orchids in glorious full bloom on both sides of the road!

Wondering
Hi John,

After looking at several images from Lake County, I'm wondering if this really is a Lestes female with wings held against the body. Except for the wings it looks very much like a northern spreadwing female from this past weekend.

Yes, we would agree.
And the best part is that you can just Tag it and Move it again!

Thanks
Hey John, thanks for the help with this. Actually I think this is a female Eastern Forktail not Lestes. I've seen the orchids there before but missed them this time. Hope your drive home was nice.

Cheers - Bill
