Triepeolus? - Epeolus

Triepeolus? - Epeolus
Mount Pinos summit, elev. 8831 ft (2692m), Ventura County, California, USA
July 17, 2007
Size: 6 mm straightend
Taking nectar in Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus .

Moved
Moved from Epeolini.

my guess is Epeolus
but it can be very difficult to separate these genera.

Shape of the pygidial plate is the best character for males.

Thanks, John,
I have a specimen of this and will take photos when I have time.
