Attempted to collect this species in Highlands on 7/23 on my way home from Childs based on a 1937 record of 1 juv female from Fort Bassinger, Okeechobee County. (These days Ft. Bassinger is in Highlands County.) Unfortunately it was late in the day, and heavy rain and mosquitos made for unfavorable collecting conditions.

I unwittingly encountered this single specimen (possible female) in my favorite county land in Okeechobee County.
Unfortunately my adventure was cut short due to rain.

This is the most widespread Geo after G. missouriensis.

Only four species left for FL, and I hope to get at least two in Alachua soon.
