The owl's eyes on the thorax are distinctive but I think the markings are closer to N. scriptana than frigidana. Have had several individuals at the light and see very little variation in the markings.

Bob. I was basing my opinion on the prominence of the medial dash relative to the other markings.

 
The Dash is There in Vargo's Specimen....
... but worn on one wing, and worn away on the other. Your moth has extensive warm brown coloration, much more than I have ever seen in the two other species, especially near the outer margin.
